Thomas Cook appoints Michelle Baillie as head of retail

Baillie (nee McMenamin) will join Cook on October 3 after a sales career at Tui spanning two decades.

She will report to Kathryn Darbandi, director of retail and customer experience.

Alongside the appointment of Baillie, Cook confirmed it has reviewed the divisional structure for its retail stores.

From October, Baillie will lead the southeast division, Torey Kings-Hodkin will lead the southwest division and Nicki Tempest-Mitchell will lead the north division.

Darbandi said: "I am delighted that Michelle will be joining our team and am confident that her impressive track record in travel retail will be invaluable as we continue to transform our retail business.”
