Launched last week in association with Enjoy England, the roadshows have so far visited Nottingham and Bristol, enabling agents to learn all about new product and developments.

Enjoy England sales and marketing manager Claire Hancer said it is vital that agents keep up to date with what’s new in the UK.

Hancer said: “Clients may go on holiday abroad, but they also take short breaks in the UK, and agents have been keen to learn about the developments on their doorstep.”

Trevor Neale, homeworker for Instant Holidays in the East Midlands said: “My knowledge of the UK was limited, I had only really sold the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. After the roadshow, I feel more confident.”

Gary Manners, a manager for United Co-op in Ilkeston said: “It’s nice to see operators working with agents rather than going direct.”

There are still places on the final three roadshows, which take place in Manchester on May 31 and Newcastle on June 7. To book a place, contact Denise Jinks on 0208 652 3803 or email denise.jinks@rbi.co.uk.
