The Ugandan Wildlife Authority has reduced the cost of gorilla tracking permits for overseas visitors from $700 to $400.
The discount on foreign non-resident gorilla tracking permits applies to new purchases for gorilla tracking up to March 31, 2021.
Furthermore, Abercrombie & Kent is offering savings of £500 per person when travelling to Sanctuary Retreats in Africa during 2021, for bookings made by December 31.
The offer applies to the Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp, which is in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest of Uganda.
Bwindi is home to seven species of primates, including the endangered mountain gorilla.
Only 700 of these animals remain worldwide and Bwindi is home to just over half of them.
A&K trips are tailor-made but suggested itineraries include the four-night Uganda Gorilla Safari; 11-night Classic Uganda; and 10-night Uganda: Gorillas & Beyond escorted tour.
