US tour guide joins TrekAmerica rep on the road

A tour guide from the US will be joining TrekAmerica and sister brand Grand American Adventures on the road in the UK to meet travel agents.

Jessica Leitch has four years of experience as a guide, and has visited more than 45 states across the US.

She will be on the road with business development executive Katie Terry for meetings with agents over the next two months.

Leitch said that one of her favourite spots to lead tours is California, commenting: "Between the breath-taking views of Big Sur, the grandeur of the Sierra Nevada mountains, and stretches of desert filled with Joshua Trees, the varied and vast scenery is by far my favourite. Pair all that nature with the charm of San Francisco, the laid-back vibes of San Diego and the magic of Hollywood in Los Angeles and it's a dream.”

Meanwhile, the online training portal for TrekAmerica and its sister brand Grand American Adventures has been updated to include more 2019 tours.

Further training and updates from the two brands will be available when they attend the event hosted by the Association of Touring and Adventure Suppliers (Atas) in Sheffield on May 8.
