Voyages to Antiquity to run first ex-UK departures in 2017

Small ship cruise line Voyages to Antiquity is to run its first ex-UK departures in 2017.

The company’s ship Aegean Odyssey (pictured) will sail from Tilbury on a round-Britain itinerary in June and an Iceland cruise in August.

 

 

A total of 17 new itineraries and 30 ports of call include maiden visits to the Orkney and Shetland Islands, Reykjavik and Olbia in Sardinia,

 

 

The new range of destinations include two overnight stays in Sorrento and Marseilles.

 

 

Mid-cruise land stays are available in Morocco, with river-cruising included in Spain and France.

 

 

The 2017 sailings go on sale on Monday (April 4) with early booking discounts of up to £1,400 per cabin and 10% reductions for repeat cruisers for all 2017 bookings made by the end of July.

 

 

Managing director, Jos Dewing, said: “Not only are we introducing many new and versatile ports of call but we also have our first ever no-fly cruises from the UK.

 

 

“The early demand for this new programme has been phenomenal and we anticipate some of these cruises to sell out quickly based on this demand.”
