The UK tourism minister has told the WTM Leaders of Industry Lunch that the UK is and will remain open for leisure and business travellers, and the Government will push for a continuation of flying and visa-free travel to support Britons’ thirst for travel and exploration.

Michael Ellis, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State of Arts, Heritage and Tourism, said: “Let me be very clear. We know how important the travel and tourism industry is and we will continue to support both the inbound and outbound markets.”
