Store Manager

We are looking for a Store Manager to help oversee a new opening in the centre of Nottingham.

 

We’ve found the perfect site and now all we need is the perfect person to make our clients’ holiday dreams a reality.

 

You will also be an experienced travel seller who has a history of putting together complex itineraries for discerning clients. You will also have either managed or been the deputy manager of a travel agency that deals with complicated bookings.

 

We are looking for a manager we can rely on and build a team around.

 

Essential

• Experience of either managing a travel agency or being a deputy manager, with profit and staff responsibility
• Track record of delivering sales results and conversions - being able to lead by example is key
• You will be a proactive, confident and forward thinking individual, with excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail: you will be responsible for your teams booking checks; ensuring holidays are not only priced correctly but also ensuring there are no errors that might impact the customer when overseas
• Proven ability to motivate, enthuse and lead a team; thrives during periods of pressure and high volume of work and able to create an upbeat, motivating sales environment
• A real passion for travel with first-hand experience and knowledge of long-haul destinations
• Knowledge and experience dealing with third party suppliers. We are part of Hays IG so knowledge of iSell is a bonus but not essential. 
• Our stores are open 6 days a week with a various shifts patterns . This position is full time therefore will work 5 days a week, including weekends.

• We’re looking for self-starters who can exhibit excellent commercial judgment
• You must enjoy leading a team and getting a buzz from others’ success
• Articulate and persuasive without being pushy
