ABP expected to increase group turnover

ASSOCIATED British Ports is expecting its group turnover to increase by at least 8% when its preliminary results are published on February 22.

ABP believes its sale the Red Funnel Group (Travel Weekly December 11) and other investments has contributed to its profits, likely to exceed £12 million.

Meanwhile Tim Bowdler will join the board of ABP directors as non-executive director on January 1. Former managing director and chairman of Red Funnel Stuart Bradley will be retiring after 13 years on the board.
