ABTA makes move to stamp out credit card fraud

ABTA is offering members ultra violet detector lamps at a reduced price in an effort to combat credit card fraud.

The lamps, which are being supplied by office equipment supplier Viking Direct, pick up special security features on genuine cards so can detect fraudulent cards.

ABTA members who want a lamp at the reduced price of £7.40, down from £11.40, should call Viking on 0800 731 7137, quote their reference number and ask for item ‘ABTA UV’.
