ADVANTAGE is looking for global partners to serve business travel clients overseas.
The group is striking up relationships with prospective agencies abroad. Advantage Travel Centres director Peter Reglar said: “We are looking to set up partnerships with agencies around the world and build up a directory of agencies with like-minded aims to Advantage.”
The move has come in response to members who are increasingly going for accounts with multinational companies.
Reglar said: “Many companies now are European or US owned with offices worldwide and they need a business travel agency nearby. A global partnership would mean that a member who had a chance to gain a client in the UK, but who also had to service an office in Germany, could provide a partner agency in Germany to serve them and vice-versa.”
