Report by John Lavabre
AIR ARUBA has ceased operations because of financial difficulties.
The board of directors took the decision to stop services on October 23. The Government of Aruba, which has a 30% stake in the airline, pledged all customers with tickets to travel on Air Aruba would get passage home.
A number of other airlines have stepped in to ensure there is no gap in service to the Caribbean island.
