AIRTOURS is introducing a three-tier pricing structure in its 2002 programmes in an effort to attract a wider cross-section of customers.
The operator is featuring the price bands Holiday Plus, Economy and Sundeal, which offer a range of packages and prices.
Only the prices of the premium package, Holiday Plus, will feature in the brochures. The rates in this category will include a range of extras for no charge. Economy holidays will offer a basic package with optional extras while Sundeals will offer a no-frills alternative with accommodation allocated on arrival.
Airtours’ senior managers have begun briefing agents about the plan a full month before the brochures are launched in May.
