Alaska offers training plan

THE Alaska Division of Tourism has launched a travel agency training scheme in the UK that is designed to improve retailers' selling skills and knowledge of the state.

 

Called Top of the World Alaska Travel Specialist, the programme comprises a self-study manual and an exam.

 

The manual must be submitted to the division of tourism's UK office and successful students will receive a personalised certificate for display in their agency, as well as regular mailings and updates, opportunities for educationals and further training modules.
