amadeus unveils new version of web-based GDS

AMADEUS has unveiled a new version of its Internet-based global distribution system, Pro Web 3270.

The new version will for the first time give travel agents access to the Amadeus negotiated fares database.

Amadeus UK managing director Mark Lewsey said: “On-line travel sites are increasing in number so to survive it is imperative that they work smoothly and are highly accessible.”
