Ambassador Cruise Line has bolstered its trade team ahead of the release of its 2028-29 sailings tomorrow (Thursday).
Laura Yates joins from Hays Travel, where she was cruise commercial assistant manager, to take up the newly-created role of business development manager for homeworkers and new business.
Jade Cheadle has been promoted to business development manager for the south while Carly Bowkett will step into the position of interim trade support manager as Beth Barker prepares to take maternity leave.
Yates will focus on developing relationships with homeworking agents and identifying new business opportunities.
Deputy head of trade Karen Cameron said: “As brand awareness and interest in our affordable quality, no-fly and fly-cruise product continues to grow, it is essential that we continue to invest in the people and relationships that support our valued trade partners.
“Laura’s extensive experience across cruise partnerships, marketing and commercial performance will be a real asset as we look to grow our homeworking partnerships and develop new trade relationships.
“I am also delighted to see Jade and Carly step into their new roles. Both have already made a significant contribution to the success of the trade team and these well-deserved moves will help ensure we continue to provide agents with all the tools, support and expertise they need to sell Ambassador with confidence.”
The trade team developments come with the line poised to release sailings for 2028-29 from London Cruise Terminal in Tilbury, Newcastle, Dundee, Liverpool, Belfast and Portsmouth.
Ambassador’s fleet will sail 74 itineraries, calling at 108 ports in 30 countries across three continents.
