Amdex signs up UK clients to ResManager

DUBLIN-BASED software supplier Amdex has signed up its first two UK clients as part of its planned expansion outside the Irish market.

 

The new contracts are with Scotland-based Caledonian Golf, a domestic and incoming tour operator, and Haywards Heath-based North American Vacation Homes, which supplies holiday homes for operators such as British Airways Holidays and JMC.

 

Amdex supplies one system, ResManager but it can be adapted to suit all users. For agents, it works as a front and back-office system with special features such as the ability to e-mail clients automatically with itineraries or invoices. For tour operators, it is a management and back-office system that works on a local area network or the Internet.

 

UK sales manager Richard Bristow: "There is just one version of ResManager, but it uses a relational database, which means it is very flexible and can be constructed to suit each individual customer's needs.”

 

Amdex has contracts in Ireland to handle viewdata for Worldspan and insurance companies such as Hamilton Barr. It also has a large client base, including operators, agents and a hotel reservation system, using ResManager.
