Anite to acquire Carus Ab

SYSTEMS provider Anite Travel Systems is to acquire Scandinavian software company Carus Ab.

The acquisition will give Anite access to Carus Ab’s Internet-based ferry and cruise sector booking and reservation system CarRes. Anite, which has recently acquired Opentur of Italy, Holland’s 2Sell and BIV of Germany, plans to use CarRes to expand further into the ferry and cruise markets and into other sectors of the travel industry.
