Atlas Ocean Voyages puts Antarctic 2027-28 voyages on sale

Atlas Ocean Voyages has put its Antarctica 2027-28 programme on sale.

The expedition specialist will operate 23 departures ranging between nine and 12 nights, including six special voyages over the festive season.

Most sailings will be a round trip from Ushuaia in Argentina, but there will be expanded fly and sail options from King George Island which will enable passengers to bypass the Drake Passage completely or for one leg of the voyage.

The nine-night Antarctic Discovery on World Traveller departs from Ushuaia on March 8, 2028, with fares starting from £8,037.

The 11-night round-trip Exploring the Last Continent expedition on World Traveller with departures on November 10, 2027 and March 6, 2028, lead in from £9,585.

The nine-night Drake Fly & Sail voyage on World Navigator departs from Ushuaia to King George Island on November 19, 2027, and costs from £10,027.

Every voyage includes a pre-cruise hotel night stay, private air charter, as well as Zodiac safaris and wildlife encounters guided by the expedition team.

Ships in the fleet will also feature new junior suites and each Antarctica sailing will have The Explorers Table multi-course tasting menu on offer in its Dome Observation Lounge, serving an omakase-style dining experience for up to 10 guests with cuisine inspired from Spain, Korea, France, Argentina, and North America.

The specialist is offering 30% savings which can be combined with the Explorer’s Choice offer of up to £1,600 air credit or a pre-expedition hotel or land package, when booked before December 31.
