Audley Travel has hired Lucy Park as trade partnerships manager for Scotland, Northern Ireland and the north of England.
Park, whose most recent role was in Canadian Affair’s trade team, has more than 12 years’ experience in the travel industry, including as an agent with Dawson & Sanderson and Thomas Cook.
Greg Thurston, head of trade sales at Audley Travel, said: “Lucy has some fantastic connections with travel agents in her region and her experience makes her the perfect person to share Audley’s unique approach to tailormade travel with our trade partners in Scotland, Northern Ireland and the north of England.”
He added: “Her appointment has come at a really exciting time for the business as we continue to grow deeper and more meaningful relationships with our trade partners through initiatives such as our agent members’ club Kindred, Future Faces of Luxury Travel training and our expanding cruise programme.”
Park said: “I am delighted to join Audley and I can’t wait to connect with our agents, working in partnership with them to develop their luxury sales and create exceptional tailor-made travel experiences for their clients.”
Her previous experience includes more than eight years at Travel Chapter, working with holiday cottage owners as property account manager and new business manager, as well as time with Virgin Holidays.
Following Park’s appointment, Audley Travel said Lisa Burton would start focusing on relationships with trade partners in central England including East Anglia, while Sarah Turner would be responsible for agent partnerships in the south of England.
