Avis secures $20 million Budget

AVIS Europe has bought the rights to the Budget name in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia for $20 million.

The purchase should be completed by the end of next month, subject to the Chapter 11 court process in the US.

Budget will continue to trade as a separate brand following the deal.
