Ayscough reports rising use of e-mail

A GROWINGnumber of business travellers are using technology to organise their travel arrangements with more than 40% of bookings being made via e-mail at Ayscough On-line, according to the business travel company.

 

 

Ayscough Travel’s annual survey of clients also revealed more than 70% do not believe the advent of technology such as video conferencing, the Internet and e-mail has reduced their need for business travel.

 

 

In-room facilities such as Web access and fax capability came second only to proximity to the airport when respondents were asked what was the most important factor in choosing a hotel.
