BA cabin crew to resume strikes first thing Monday morning

British Airways cabin crew will resume strikes from first thing Monday morning, May 24, unless there is a deal or suspension over the weekend.

BA expects to carry at least 70% of passengers during the action.

The strikes will span May 24-28, May 30-June 3 and June 5-9, but disruption on the intervening days (May 29 and June 4) is unavoidable.

Passengers due to fly to or from Heathrow any time between  May 24 and June 9 should check www.ba.com for the latest information.

Flights to and from Gatwick and London City should operate as normal.

Heathrow flights will be affected, but BA expects to operate at least 60% of long-haul services and 50% of short haul. Cancellations will be concentrated on routes with frequent services, with at least one service to every destination.

• May 30-June 4: BA will confirm services to and from Heathrow on Wednesday May 26. Passengers can re-book for free or seek a refund before then. Once the schedule is announced passengers will only be entitled to re-book for free or seek a refund if their flight is cancelled.
  
  
• June 5-9: BA will confirm services to and from Heathrow on Tuesday June 1. Passengers can re-book for free or seek a refund before then. Once the schedule is announced they may only do so if their flight is cancelled.
