Barton starts sports specialist

NEWCASTLE United footballer Warren Barton has launched his own travel agency, providing resort holidays and city breaks for fellow sports professionals.

 

The player has set up Gibbon and Barton International, with business partner Rob Tait, after spotting a gap in the market for a specialised service.

 

"Sports people have only a limited time in which to take holidays,” he said.

 

"Financially, times have never been so good for so many players. They can afford to take their families with them.”

 

The agency, based in Newcastle, is bonded with Travel Trust Association.
