Blatant plug for direct sales

Another brochure delivery season is upon us with even more of them exhorting the customer to either book direct on supplied telephone numbers or go to the Web sites advertised on every page.

 

Do these operators seriously expect independent agents to give out these brochures without also giving them a fee? The answer to this is obviously ‘yes'.

 

But are there agents out there stupid enough to distribute point-of-sale material which is specifically designed to persuade the client not to book with them but head straight for the phone or computer?
