Board changes at Macdonald Hotels

MACDONALD Hotels has made a number of changes to its board of directors.

Former Heritage Hotels managing director Guy Crawford has been appointed executive director and managing director. He will report to chief executive Donald Macdonald.

Meanwhile, former managing director of operations director Gerry Smith has been promoted to deputy chief executive.

Back in April Macdonald Hotels acquired Heritage Hotels in a deal worth £235 million.
