British Airways to trial mid-flight web technology

system that will allow First, Club World and World Traveller plus passengers to use the Internet on board its aircraft.

The system will be trialled for three months starting in February next year. The technology will allow passengers to use the Web and send and receive emails from their own lap tops mid-flight.

The carrier is testing the system following demand from customers.
