The latest brochure from luxury tour operator Carrier has been designed to help agents “capture the expected surge in demand for winter escapes”.
Called ‘Beach, bliss & then some’, it aims to help agents convert clients seeking late summer, autumn or winter sun breaks, as well as those planning ahead for 2026.
Carrier noted 63% of recent bookings were for beach destinations and 45% were focused on winter sun travel between October and March.
The brochure features well-known hotels as well as boutique and independent properties across destinations such as the Maldives, Barbados, Dubai, Madagascar and Zanzibar.
It also includes new additions to the operator’s portfolio, including Apes Hill Barbados, Royal Mansour Tamuda Bay in Morocco and Finolhu, A Seaside Collection Resort in the Maldives.
One section helps agents to incorporate extra touches into bookings, prompted by the 21% year-on-year increase Carrier has seen in experience-led travel.
Suggestions include choosing specific room types, booking immersive experiences and selecting standout places to enjoy celebrations in order to “transform a beach holiday from simply luxurious to unforgettable”.
Carrier has created a marketing toolkit with promotional assets such as window displays, social media content and a range of offers.
‘Beach, bliss & then some’ has also been overbranded for a selection of agent partners to market directly to their clients.
Byanne Akbor, Carrier’s head of marketing, said: “The campaign strapline, ‘The beach is just the beginning’, captures the essence of what Carrier stands for. We’re not here to sell hotel rooms – we’re here to create moments that evoke joy, surprise and connection.”
Rebecca Turner, Carrier head of product, commented: “We’ve purposely chosen destinations that typically perform well at this time of year, as well as those where we see strong potential.
“In 2024, Carrier’s top-performing Q4 destination was Dubai, with October as the peak travel month, followed closely by Spain’s Canary Islands.
“So far in 2025, the UAE continues to lead, while the Caribbean and Indian Ocean regions show strong momentum with bookings up 13%.
“In the last six weeks, 36% of beach bookings for travel in September to December were to Greece and Spain, shifting to the Indian Ocean and UAE later in the year.”
