Cathay Pacific is offering upgraded in-flight service on a second daily frequency between Heathrow and Hong Kong.
The airline’s Aria Suite business class and new premium economy cabin will be available on a retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER from October 25 with the start of the winter schedule.
The move means that two of the carrier’s five daily flights on the London route will feature the upgraded cabins.
It comes as Cathay Pacific marks 80 years of operations this year and builds on the airline’s ongoing refit of 777-300ER aircraft.
Brian Tsoi, the airline’s regional general manager for Europe, said: “Bringing our award-winning Aria Suite and new premium economy cabin to a second daily London Heathrow service marks an important step in elevating the experience for customers travelling between the UK and Hong Kong.
“London remains one of our most important long-haul markets, and this expansion underlines our continued commitment to investing in the routes, products and experiences that matter most to our customers.”
