Children’s rates rise because of late booking

I write to make a point about a print-out fromviewdata which displays a First Choice costing.

 

 

From the print out it would seem the adult price is £179 per person and the child price is £154 per person.

 

 

It sounds good when the client says: “Oh, the child fare is £25 cheaper than the adult’s.”

 

 

When you come to book the flights, not only are there the ticket-on-departurecharges to add on but there is a £25 “child late price”.

 

 

This then, coincidentally, puts the flight cost up to just the same as the adult fare that was quoted.

 

 

Are children being discriminated against for booking late?
