Citalia looks to expand with niche acquisitions

CITALIA is on the acquisition trail as new owner First Choice looks to further expand its specialist division.

Citalia managing director Camillo de Simone confirmed it is eyeing niche operators but declined to reveal further details.

The move emerged after First Choice acquired 75% of the operator from CIT International for a reported £15 million.

The deal took two months to complete after CIT decided to concentrate on its hospitality business.
