Condolences for Cresta’s Keith Byrne

MATTHEW Cheetham, managing director of MyTravel’s specialist businesses, has offered words of condolence following the death of Cresta head of sales Keith Byrne on Friday.

Byrne, 48, had been suffering from cancer. He leaves a wife, Sarah, and two sons, Tom and Jack.

Cheetham said: “His death has come as a real shock, not least because of the typically positive way in which he was fighting the cancer right up until the end.  

“We have lost a true and generous friend and an inspirational colleague.

“Keith's huge personality will leave a big gap in our lives. We will miss him terribly, but we were lucky to have known him.”
