Conference lines up key speakers

TRAVELOCITY European vice-president Jeff Lavender is one of the key speakers lined up for a Travel Weekly and Sabre conference entitled Embracing the Internet.

 

Lavender will discuss e-commerce trends, the impact of travel buying and what Travelocity is doing to compete with other on-line travel sites. The event is being held on the morning of Thursday July 6 at Le Meridien Waldorf Hotel in London. Among other speakers, Sabre's senior vice-president Europe, Middle East and Africa Chris Kroeger will tell agents how they can use the Internet to their advantage.

 

Sabre director UKand Ireland David Brown said:”Travel agents should be looking to establish a presence in as many travel distribution channels as possible.

 

"This conference will address this key issue and is hugely important to travel agents.”
