THOMAS Cook has revealed it is to develop UK programmes into Croatia over the next two to three years.
Parent group Thomas Cook AG already has hotel accommodation in the country and the UK arm had looked into whether to feature the destination next year. Other countries under consideration include Bulgaria.
Chief executive Alan Stewart said: “The group has bought and refurbished hotels and we are committed to accommodation in Croatia but there is a lead-in time of about two years.
“We need to develop product specifically for the UK market. We cannot force clients into something alien to them.”
