Hurtigruten Expeditions has expanded its pole-to-pole itinerary programme for 2023 after this year’s two sailings sold out.
The line will offer three new voyages from the Northern Hemisphere to the Southern Hemisphere next year. All are due to depart in August 2023.
Roald Amundsen will operate a 94-day sailing departing from Vancouver, Canada, on August 3, 2023, to Ushuaia, Argentina. Prices start from £34,633.
The battery-hybrid powered expedition ship (pictured) is to pass through the Panama Canal to reach South America.
Fridtjof Nansen will offer a 93-day sailing, departing on August 13, 2023, from Reykjavik, Iceland, to Ushuaia. The lead-in price is £34,634.
Passengers can choose to visit ancient sites in Ecuador, Peru and Chile during the itinerary.
Prices for a 66-day itinerary on Fram, departing from Cambridge Bay in the Arctic on August 30, start from £23,086.
The line combines “several iconic itineraries” into one journey which focuses on science, learning and sustainability.
