Davina McCall becomes Hays Travel’s first brand ambassador

TV presenter Davina McCall has been announced as the ‘face’ of Hays Travel from May 1, 2025.

As the company’s first brand ambassador she will appear in the travel agency’s new TV ad and on promotional materials in its 500 stores, on its website and social media channels.

Hays Travel owner Dame Irene Hays said the company had been looking for an ambassador who would connect with loyal and new customers as the company marks 45 years’ trading.

She said: “We were thinking ‘outside the box’ about who would connect with our loyal customers as well as a new audience.

“Hays Travel has been through significant change and growth over recent years, yet we are still the same family company, committed to our colleagues, customers, and the communities where we operate.”

She added: “Davina is a positive and inspirational role model who embodies our own values – she is the perfect person to represent us at this point in our history, as we celebrate 45 years of caring for our customers.”

McCall said the decision was a “no brainer” from her point of view and a “win win win”.

On the partnership she said: “I am so excited to be working with Hays Travel. I had the great pleasure of meeting Dame Irene at an event, where I sat next to her without knowing who she was or what she did.

“I’m not sure anyone has made such a massive first impression on me as she did. So, when she contacted me about working with Hays, it was obviously a no brainer.

“I had a feeling that her brilliance would trickle down through her business. And I can tell you, it totally does. I love everyone that works there. Their passion, their commitment, and their fun... it’s win win win.”

McCall, who is also a fitness guru and author, is a well-known TV personality with a career spanning 30 years.

As a TV broadcaster, she has appeared in shows including Long Lost Family, The Masked Singer, My Mum Your Dad, and documentaries Sex, Myths and the Menopause, and Sex, Mind and the Menopause.

In addition, she has produced 15 fitness DVDs, a range of equipment and a fitness platform. Her book Menopausing was published in 2022 and she is due to release her second book, Birthing, in 2025.

She is also an ambassador for hair and skincare brand Garnier, health science company Zoe and wellness brand Ancient & Brave.
