Designer Travel has appointed Olivia Jones to the newly created role of digital marketing executive.
Jones, who will join the agency on November 17, was formerly marketing executive at Classic Collection Holidays before the brand was closed by parent On the Beach in September.
Jones’s role will include creating digital content for the Designer Travel network, working with suppliers to enhance the agency’s social media offering, growing its library of assets and “bringing our brand guidelines to life”.
Head of commercial Darren Bien said: “Olivia will bring a wealth of marketing knowledge to the team here at Designer.
“Her first-class degree in marketing from the University of Liverpool and three years in the world of corporate law have combined perfectly with her time at Classic Collection Holidays to enable her to think out of the box and approach digital marketing in a new and creative way.
“Liv is really looking forward to supporting and working alongside the amazing support team we have here at DT.”
Designer Travel said the appointment came “as sales continue to grow”.
Bien added: “It’s an exciting role and another new chapter for us – we can’t wait for Liv to start.”
