Domestic flight connections have been added as part of Fred Olsen Cruise Lines’ 2025 Mediterranean fly-cruise programme.
Departures from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Belfast and Newcastle to Heathrow will connect with flights serving ships.
Passengers fly to the London hub to meet their onward journey to the Mediterranean.
The company has ships sailing from various ports in the Med this year, including Civitavecchia - the port for Rome - Rhodes and Valencia.
Fred Olsen’s Med fly-cruise itineraries include calls into destinations across Spain, Italy, Croatia, Greece and Turkey.
The connecting flights mean passengers can travel with just one check-in, further streamlining the start of their holiday, according to the line.
Guest experience director Doug Glenwright said: “The Mediterranean offers many architectural, cultural and culinary highlights, and exploring this exciting region on a Fred Olsen fly-cruise is especially rewarding.
“Adding these new domestic flights to our fly-cruise programmes makes it even easier for our guests across the UK to join one of our fly-cruises, offering fewer days at sea and the chance to be exploring one of the region’s enriching destinations much quicker.”
