EasyJet adds Egyptian winter-sun resort to Edinburgh network

The Red Sea resort of Sharm El Sheikh is being added to easyJet’s network from Edinburgh airport.

Flights will operate weekly on Tuesdays from November 10, 2026, with return fares starting at £182.98.

In-house tour operator easyJet holidays will be offering package holidays based on the service to the Egyptian destination.

UK country manager Kevin Doyle said: “It’s great to be able to offer our customers yet another new route and even more choice for a package holiday from Edinburgh with our new service to Sharm El Sheikh, providing Scottish travellers with a convenient, direct connection for those seeking year-round sunshine.

“This is the 12th new route we’ve added to our Edinburgh network this year, and we remain focused on  offering even greater connectivity for customers in Scotland, along with fantastic service and great value fares.”

Edinburgh airport chief commercial officer Stephanie Wear added: “We know winter-sun is a big attraction for people looking to get away and unwind when it gets a wee bit colder here in Scotland, and destinations like Sharm El Sheikh offer exactly that sunshine and warmth.
