EasyJet starts 2014 with 3.7% passenger rise

The budget airline topped the 4 million passenger mark in January against just under 3.9 million in the same month last year.

The load factor rose by one percentage point to 85.4%.

Overall carryings were up by 3.6% to almost 61.5 million in the 12 months ending in January.
