EasyJet to stop Leeds Bradford Airport services next year

Budget carrier easyJet will stop operating services from Leeds Bradford Airport next year following a review.

A spokesperson for the airline told Travel Weekly: “We can confirm that easyJet will cease operating flights from Leeds Bradford Airport after 5 January 2027.

“Scheduled flights will continue as normal until 5 January 2027.

"Following a review of our routes from Leeds Bradford Airport, we have made the decision to no longer operate flights from the airport after 5 January.

“Our focus is on maintaining and developing routes which prove most popular with customers.”

The airline serves Barcelona, Paris, Belfast, Malaga and Palma in Majorca from LBA, and has previously offered seasonal flights to Geneva.

The BBC reported that customers with easyJet bookings from LBA beyond January 5 have been offered a free transfer to flights from an alternative airport or a refund.

ITV News said eight other airlines currently fly from LBA, including Ryanair and Jet2.
