Elections for ABTA board directors

JUST three positions are up for grabs in the ABTA board of directors elections for 2003/04.

Nine nominees are up for one vacancy in the Band A category for retail businesses up to £10 million. The candidates are Di Baker, Wellington Travel; Allan Beaver, Landtours; Christine Blocksidge, Taylor Travel Worldchoice; Daniele Broccoli, Britaly Travel; John Dellaway, APA Travel Services; Andrew Dickson, St Andrews Travel Centres; Sue Foxall, Alfendo; Doreen McKenzie, Knock Travel; and Doug Wardle, Wardle Travel.

For Band A in the principal business category, four vie for two vacancies. They are Angelo Carraro, Carefree Travel International; Alan Cornish, Corona Holidays of London; Lawrence Peachey, DER Travel; and Neil Taylor, Regent Holidays.

Ballot papers must be returned by April 9.
