Emirates is deploying a new Airbus A350 to Gatwick for the first time.
The additional daily Dubai service joins the airport’s existing three daily A380 superjumbo flights.
The fourth daily frequency to Gatwick means that the airline will operate a record 146 weekly flights to the UK, including 87 to London.
The A350-900 is operating with a three-class configuration, with 32 lie-flat business class seats in a 1-2-1 layout, 28 in premium economy and 238 in economy.
Gatwick is the second UK destination to receive the new generation aircraft after being introduced to Edinburgh in January 2025.
