Eurocamp to open new site near Venice for summer 2027

Eurocamp has partnered with an Italian holiday provider to add a new resort near Venice.

The company has joined forces with Italian outdoor holiday firm hu Openair to open the resort, which is now accepting bookings from May 2027.

The new 100-hectare site, hu Eraclea Mare, will offer more than 500 lodge-style holiday homes across its Comfort, Premium and Ultimate ranges, all designed with large patios and outdoor showers as well as indoor bathrooms.

The resort will feature a large water park, access to the beach, day trips to Venice, the lagoon islands and the Dolomites.

Eurocamp already works with hu Openair, and features the company’s other locations in Italy, including hu Altomincio Village in Lake Garda and hu Norcenni Girasole Village in Tuscany.

The new resort will be home to a nine-hectare water park, the largest water of any of the hu villages in Italy, and will include indoor and outdoor pools, waterslides and a solarium.

Access to a Blue Flag-awarded beach will be available alongside sports facilities, activities including mini golf, paintball and a treetop adventure course, more than 30 food and drink outlets and a 1,500-seat outdoor theatre for evening entertainment.

It is set within the 370-acre Valle Ossi Rural and Regional Tourist Park, offering 10km of cycle and pedestrian paths, and spacious accommodation pitches, and close to Adriatic resorts like Jesolo and Caorle, with easy transport links into Venice.
