eurotunnel chief to step down

EUROTUNNEL group chief executive Philippe Lazare is step down at the end of the year because of a disagreement over management of the company.

Lazare will be replaced by Eurotunnel’s chief financial officer Richard Shirrefs. Shirrefs has been with the company since 1996.

A statement issued by Eurotunnel said Lazare’s departure is by mutual agreement with the board of directors.
