Eurowings returns to Glasgow after seven years

German low-cost carrier Eurowings has returned to Glasgow Airport for the first time since 2019.

The Lufthansa Group airline is flying to Hanover three times a week on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays until August 23 with one-way fares starting at £39.99.

Head of network relations Reinald Frankewitz said: “We are delighted to celebrate the launch of our new Glasgow–Hanover service and to return to Glasgow Airport.

“The route provides customers with a convenient new travel option between Scotland and northern Germany, connecting two regions with strong cultural and economic ties.”

Glasgow Airport managing director Gavin Birch Williams added: “As the only direct route between Scotland and Hanover, this service opens up fantastic opportunities for both inbound tourism and outbound travel, supporting our continued commitment to enhancing global connectivity for Glasgow and the wider region.”
