Travel agents and suppliers marked Canada Day with a day of learning and networking hosted by First Class Holidays.
The long-haul tour operator invited 60 agents along with Canada tourism partners to Hornington Manor in York.
The group heard from suppliers and tourist boards about the latest product updates and new experiences available in the destination.
Canada Day, on July 1, celebrates the anniversary of the Canadian Confederation which happened on July 1, 1867, when three separate colonies were united to form Canada.
The trade event finished with a Canada Day party in the evening to celebrate First Class Holidays’ long-term partnerships with the trade and destination suppliers. Canada is one of First Class Holidays’ most popular destinations.
First Class Holidays head of sales Paula Martin said: “Canada continues to be one of our flagship destinations, and Canada Day provided the perfect opportunity to bring together our valued travel agent partners and suppliers.
“Events like this allow us to share knowledge, inspire new ideas and thank our agent partners for their continued support. We wanted the day to be informative, interactive and, above all, enjoyable and the feedback we’ve received has been fantastic.”
First Class Holidays also runs a bi-weekly webinar series for travel agents which involves 20-minute masterclasses.
