expedia reveals revenue and bookings rise

ON-LINE travel agency Expedia has revealed total revenue for the quarter ending March 31 was $116 million, an increase of 103% on the previous 12 months.

After tax profits were $28.4 million while gross bookings for the period were worth $1.1 billion, a 64% rise on the previous year.
