Explore Worldwide launches summer savings on European holidays

Explore Worldwide has launched a summer promotion offering savings across a wide range of European tours departing over the coming months.

The small-group adventure specialist said the campaign is driven by an increase in demand for European summer holidays “sparked by the recent heatwave across the UK”.

Called ‘Here Comes the Sun’, it includes discounted departures across the operator’s range of Classic Discovery tours plus walking and Cycling holidays.

Michael Edwards, managing director at Explore Worldwide, said: “Following the recent heatwave across the UK, we’re seeing a real appetite from travellers looking to make the most of the summer and secure a sunshine escape while availability is still there.

“People are absolutely in the mood to travel right now, whether that’s walking along the Amalfi Coast, island-hopping in Croatia or discovering somewhere completely new like Albania or Slovenia.

“What we’re seeing is that travellers want more than just a beach holiday. They’re looking for experiences, connection and adventure, and small-group travel continues to resonate strongly with people who want to explore in a more meaningful way.”

Savings include £150 off ‘A Taste of Turkey – Istanbul to Cappadocia’, which is now £1,170 for nine days, and £200 off Amalfi Coast Discovery, now from £1,595.

Undiscovered Balkans costs from £2,195 – saving £175 – while Croatia Island Hopping is priced from £1,880, a saving of £150.
