FCO tells UK citizens to be cautious while overseas

THE FOREIGN and Commonwealth Office is advising UK citizens to exercise caution while overseas because of yesterday’s attacks in the US.

A statement issued by the organisation said: “All British nationals overseas should avoid situations where there might be tension and stay in touch with fast moving events. Travellers should be aware that flights will be disrupted and cancelled – those planning to fly back should check with their carrier to ensure that flights are still scheduled.”
