Former Hays Travel regional sales manager opens third branch 

An ex-Hays Travel regional sales manager has opened her third branch since becoming a franchisee with the UK’s largest independent travel agent.

Rebecca Holt began running the company’s Chapeltown and Wombwell stores in South Yorkshire as her own businesses in November 2023.

She is now also responsible for Hays Travel’s newest branch, which had its official grand opening in Chesterfield’s Vicar Lane Shopping Centre on Monday (December 29).

A team of eight will be led by manager Rebecca Manton, who was most recently a personal travel consultant with the agency group.

Holt said: “I have been saying for years that Chesterfield needed a Hays Travel, and now it’s finally here.

“I’m super excited to open and meet our wonderful new customers, helping them plan their dream holidays.”

Hays Travel head of franchise Steven Reilly said: “It has been fantastic to see Rebecca flourish as a franchisee. Her story shows the wealth of opportunity and progression paths available at Hays Travel.
